Irving I. Lesnick
Mr. Lesnick has practiced law since 1960 in New York City and on Long Island (1950 - 1983), Boca Raton, Florida (1983 - 2012) and Waltham, Massachusetts (since 2012). He is admitted to practice in New York, Florida and Massachusetts. Mr. Lesnick's practice has centered on corporate and administrative law for small businesses, primarily, but not exclusively, small life and health insurance companies and agencies, and on life and health insurance claims disputes.
Mr. Lesnick graduated from Columbia College in 1954 and Yale Law School, where he was a member of the Yale Law Journal, in 1959.
Mr. Lesnick is the author, together with his long time former partner, Bertram Harnett, of a six volume treatise titled "The Law of Life and Health Insurance," published in 1988 by Mathew Bender, and kept up to date with annual supplements.
Mr. Lesnick, while practicing on Long Island, taught courses in insurance law and the public regulation of business as an adjunct professor at Hofstra Law School.
